April has seen the commissioning of a Panda Low Bake Spray Booth with an internal size of 6.9m x 4m. Powered by natural gas, the booth can be heated to a temperature of 60 degrees C and jobs can be spray finished and dry in 1 hour. The fully enclosed booth minimizes the impact of dust and the inclusion of day light fluorescent lighting creates an even light environment for the tradesman when spraying. Using an automotive quality paint mixing system we can colour match to any PMS colour or Swatch provided.  | ||

2011 has been busy as we expanded into our new space in Unit 4 /226
Headland Road. On securing Unit 4 in addition to the existing Unit 6
at 226 Headland Road, it seemed the obvious move was to separate the
‘clean’ and ‘dirty’ operations of the business. Unit 4 now houses admin, art, design, digital print and vinyl whilst our existing space at Unit 6 is home to the manufacturing processes including CNC, welding, spray painting and assembly. As part of the equipment upgrades, we installed a new enclosed baking spray booth enabling faster turn around times for spray finished signage whilst maintaining quality finishes and providing better OH&S outcomes for staff. Other equipment upgrades included greater computer capacity for graphics department and improvements to plastic fabrication.The additional space creates better work flow outcomes, increasing capacity and providing additional storage space. We even have room for a table-tennis table and a coffee bar.
